I photographed what was probably my most intimate wedding to date on 28 July 2014. It was a real privilege to have been booked to photograph Greta and Daniel's wedding at Newham Registry Office, because they only invited 7 close family members.
I met the couple for coffee at Westfield, Stratford a couple of weeks before the wedding and it was clear that they were completely smitten and full of fun. This told me that they wouldn't need much direction when 'posing' for photographs.
Greta and Daniel wanted photographs taken before their ceremony, and fortunately were not superstitious about seeing each other before the wedding. We arranged to meet in Plashet Park which was next to Newham Registry Office and spent about 20 minutes taking photographs. It was lovely having them all to myself and the guests proved themselves to be equally spontaneous for the group shots after the ceremony.
