On the 30th of July I made my way across London on a very rainy day to photograph the marriage of Carolyn and Chris. The ceremony took place at St Michaels and All Angels in Blackheath, which is a very impressive-looking Gothic building designed in the 19th century by George Smith. Staircases at the back of the church lead to the galleries, and the Reverend Sandy Christie was kind enough to let me go up there for a birds-eye view of the church.
It was a lovely service and my first one to feature a wedding dog. The reception was held at Carolyn and Chris' home a short distance from the church. I have very fond memories of playing softball on Blackheath so it was really great to be back down south again.
