Rainham Parish Church | Essex Wedding Photographer

On 21 April 2012, Michelle and Daniel celebrated their wedding at Rainham Parish Church of St Helen and St Giles in the presence of 100 family and friends. The church dates back to Norman times and provided an intimate setting for the ceremony. The group shots were taken in the grounds of Rainham Hall, an 18th century merchant's house which is adjacent to the church and owned by the National Trust.

The reception was held at The Circus Tavern Banqueting Suite, Purfleet for 250 guests who partied well into the night.

In the week leading up to the wedding, the weather had been atrocious - torrential rain and thunder storms, and rain was also forecast for the day of the wedding. However, we were blessed that day as the sun shone for all of the outdoor shots and only came down when were were at the reception.

I am always interested in the details that brides and grooms incorporate into their wedding because it gives me small insights into their personalities. It's these details which will be forgotten over time, but preserved forever in the wedding photography.
